What Does It Cost to Work with Integrative Functional Nutrition?

Let’s talk about the #1 question we get from potential clients:

“What’s it going to cost to work with you?”

And honestly—fair question. You work hard for your money, and you deserve to know exactly where it’s going, what kind of value you’re getting, and what this investment will look like over time.

The short answer: it depends.

The real answer: let’s break it down, step-by-step.

First, the good news

I now accept Blue Cross Blue Shield and am actively working to get paneled with additional insurance companies so that more clients can access care with coverage. If you have a different insurance provider, don’t worry—we’re in motion, and I’ll keep you updated as new panels are approved.

The Investment Breakdown

Initial Assessment – $240

This is a 60-minute deep dive into your full health picture—your relationship with food, medical history, supplements, medications, lab work, and yes, we will be talking about poop. After we meet, I spend several hours researching and building out your plan behind the scenes. This session is the launchpad for everything we’ll do together.

Why so in-depth up front? Because your body and mind deserve a tailored, strategic plan—not a one-size-fits-all fix.

We keep this cost relatively low because most clients work with us over at least 12 sessions. That long-term relationship allows us to truly support you while balancing out that front-loaded time investment.

Follow-Up Appointments – $130

Follow-ups are 45 minutes and typically happen every other week for the first 3–6 months. That rhythm gives us time to implement changes, assess progress, and stay connected without burnout or overwhelm.

Of course, we adjust based on what you need—some clients need more frequent support, others less.

During your first session, we’ll get your next 10 appointments on the books so you’ve got a consistent time slot you can rely on.

Why This Frequency?

Nutrition isn’t a quick fix. Healing takes time, attention, and honest support. Our appointment structure is designed with intention:

  • Progress, not overwhelm: If you can get results by changing one thing, why change ten? We move intentionally to figure out what’s actually working.
  • Behavior change needs support: New habits require reinforcement, especially when old patterns are deeply ingrained.
  • You’re more than your symptoms: We also look at the emotional and psychological sides of eating. It’s not just about what you eat—it’s how you feel about it.
  • We track outcomes: If we’re trying a new food or supplement, we check in regularly to make sure it’s helping—not just guessing.

Other Costs to Consider (that are not covered by insurance)

Functional Lab Work

Some clients may need additional labs. Basic panels can often be run through your regular doctor. If more specialized testing is needed, we’ll walk you through how to get those done.

We don’t mark up lab tests, but we do charge a $100 lab interpretation fee per set of results. That covers the time it takes to analyze your markers and integrate them into your personalized care plan.

Supplements

We only recommend high-quality, clinically-backed supplements that support your goals. Some clients use very few; others may need a robust protocol temporarily to get things back on track. The cost varies depending on your needs.

We use trusted online dispensaries to ensure quality and convenience. We’re not tied to any one brand; instead, we choose the best product for your body.

Yes, we receive a small affiliate commission on supplements. That helps cover the time we spend researching ingredients, meeting with companies, and staying current with the best options on the market—so you don’t have to.

So… What’s the Total Cost?

That depends entirely on your unique needs, your body, and your goals. But here’s what I can promise:

You’ll never be guessing where your money is going.

You’ll always understand the “why” behind every recommendation.

And when we’re done, our goal is that you won’t need us anymore. You’ll feel confident, empowered, and equipped to feed yourself in a way that feels aligned and sustainable.

You’ll know your body. You’ll know what works.

And you’ll never again need someone to tell you how to eat.
